Description:
In this workshop you will study principles of pedagogy and instructional
design and apply these theories to one of your lessons. The course will
be conducted both in person and online over a two-week period.
Course Information
- Designed for FHDA faculty who teach classroom-based, tech-enhanced,
hybrid, and online courses.
- Keynote luncheon with speaker Frances Himes, Associate Vice-President
of Education of Macromedia, Friday, May 3, 12:30, Foothill College Board
Room.
- Closing session with participant presentations and lunch, Friday,
May 17, 2002, 12:30, Student Government room next to the Foothill dinning
room.
- 18 hours online coursework required between May 3-17, 2002.
Goals:

Apply educational theory to your instruction.
- Apply instructional design principles to create or modify one of your
lessons.
- Discuss and share your work and ideas with other instructors.
- Reflect on what you've learned and how you can apply it.
Course Navigation
