Introduce: Preparing For Transfer

Many students attend De Anza College because of its reputation for preparing students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. De Anza has consistently had one of the highest number of transfer rates for community colleges in California.  De Anza also has a reputation for its students being well prepared in basic skills like math and English. Did you know that the California State University (CSU) and the University of California (UC) give priority admission to California community college transfer students who have completed the first half of their baccalaureate (BA or BS) program?
