Royal Spagetti

Once upon a time in a land of prosperity, wealth, and spaghetti was castle where there lived a king and queen. They were king and queen of the land because of the very very very wonderful spaghetti they made. Many people had tried to create this great spaghetti in order to be king and queen, but had failed.

Outside the kingdom lived an evil man named Luigi who was the second best spaghetti maker, but jealous and a sore loser. Because of this jealousy, he kidnapped the baby young prince, Antonio, and left him in an orphanage in Venice.

Antonio was a clumsy young boy, yet talented with the gift to make wonderful spaghetti. Years passed; still no one knew Antonio was prince of a faraway kingdom. One mysterious night, Antonio came across a garden, not far from the palace he was born in, where he picked a basket of tomatoes. What he didnšt know was that the tomatoes were special and had magical powers.

The next day, a princess named Francesca, who unfortunately had a burned face, was riding a Gondola on the Venetian river. Antonio was crossing the bridge above her, and because of his clumsiness, the basket of tomatoes fell out of his hand onto the sad princessšs head. Suddenly, she was transformed to a beautiful girl, and as a result, invited Antonio to the palace to celebrate this great day. Antonio said he would make his special spaghetti for the celebration.

On the day of the celebration, all the people of the kingdom were praising Antoniošs spaghetti and the marvelous healing of the Princessšs face. Luigi was at the celebration because he wanted to ruin Antoniošs success. But when he ate the best spaghetti in all of Italy, suddenly his intentions disappeared, and he became a nice person. Luigi confessed that Antonio was a prince and the true heir to the thrown of the spaghetti kingdom. After the truth came out, Princess Francesco and Prince Antonio were married and they lived happily ever after.
